IDB Lab, the innovation laboratory of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), is looking for a National Consultant in Brazil to provide support in the following activities: (1) coordination and administration of IDB Lab’s innovation ecosystem project in Brazil; (2) identification and design of innovative activities and programs in coordination with local sector specialists from the IDB and IDB Invest; (3) be the IDB Lab’s liaison with the Brazilian innovation ecosystem, through in situ engagement with accelerators, incubators, start-ups, NGO’s, venture funds and other innovation initiatives (4) supervision of knowledge products of operations to promote the IDB Lab’s innovation agenda in Brazil; (5) work with the IDB Country Office in Brazil, providing strategic inputs from the perspective of the innovation ecosystem and economic development needs in the country to keep IDB Lab’s vision in Brazil up-to-date and relevant; and (6) coordination with the IDB Country Office in Brazil to strategically align the actions of IDB Lab and support open innovation proposals and initiatives of the Office in Brazil.
